Pad Kra Pao
Ingredients:
- 1lbs ground pork or turkey
- 1/2 onion diced
- 7 cloves of garlic minced
- 3 birds eye chilies sliced
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 teaspoons oyster sauce
- handful of thai holy basil leaves
- 1/4 cup water or chicken stock
Instructions:
- Make your sauce by mixing the sugar, fish sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce
- Put oil in the pan and stir fry the garlic, onion, and chilies
- Add the ground meat and stir fry until browned
- Pour in your sauce and stir fry until cooked off
- Deglaze the pan with the water or chicken stock
- Add in the holy basil leaves, stir, and take off the heat
- Serve with rice, fried egg, and green beans
