Egg Drop Soup
Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- scallions, sliced
- Additional seasoning and garnishes of choice, (e.g. MSG, tumeric, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili oil, etc.)
Steps
- don't drop the eggs hahahahah
- Mix eggs in a bowl.
- Bring chicken broth to a boil in a pot, then reduce heat.
- Mix cornstarch and water together in a bowl, then pour into the pot until thickened to your liking.
- Pour the eggs into the pot while stirring the soup to create egg ribbons.
- Add salt and pepper into the pan along with any additional seasoning.
- Finish off with scallions along with any additional garnishes.
