☕ Bhoomika's Homemade Cinnamon Latte
This is my go-to drink on cold mornings or whenever I need a little warmth.
It's way better than anything from a coffee shop and takes about 10 minutes.
The cinnamon makes it feel cozy without being too sweet.
Ingredients
- 1 shot of espresso (or ½ cup of strong brewed coffee)
- 1 cup of milk (whole milk works best, but oat milk is great too)
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
- A tiny pinch of nutmeg (optional but trust me)
- Whipped cream for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Brew your espresso or strong coffee and pour it into your favorite mug.
- In a small saucepan, warm the milk over medium heat — don't let it boil.
- Stir in the cinnamon, sugar (or honey), and nutmeg into the warm milk.
- Froth the milk using a frother, a whisk, or just shake it in a jar with the lid on.
- Pour the frothed cinnamon milk over your espresso.
- Top with whipped cream and a sprinkle of cinnamon if you're feeling fancy.
- Sit down, take a sip, and enjoy your moment. ☕
Makes 1 serving. Best enjoyed on a slow morning.
