Airfryer Tonkatsu
Ingredients
- Boneless pork cutlets
- Flour
- 3 whisked eggs
- Japanese style panko breadcrumbs
- Spray Oil
- Tonkatsu sauce
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 360 degrees F.

Tenderize pork cutlets flat, sprinkle with salt and let rest for 10
minutes. While they are resting, brown panko on stove top until golden
brown.

In three containers, put the flour, whisked eggs, and browned panko
respectively.

Cover each cutlet completely in flour, shaking off excess. Then dip in
the eggs coating completely. Lastly, coat the cutlet with the panko,
shaking off excess.

Spray the coated pork cutlets with oil and place on a wire rack with a
sheet pan underneath to catch oil. Cook it in the air fryer for 15-20
minutes.

Take it out of the oven and let rest on the wire rack to let excess
moisture drip off. Optionally serve with white rice, shredded cabbage,
and tonkatsu sauce.
