Æbleskiver
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs (yolks separated)
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teapsoons of baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoons of salt
- 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons melted butter
- 2/3 cup water
- 1 cup of oil
Instructions:

Beat egg whites in mixing bowl, mix thoroughly until stiff peaks form.

Beat yolks, buttermilk, flour, melted butter, sugar, baking powder,
baking soda, and salt all together in a large bowl until combined.
- Fold the egg whites in.

Pour 2tb of batter into each prepared cup in the ableskiver pan (yes the
specific pan for it, OR a similar pan with indents).

Quickly flip to other side with toothpicks or fork to ensure maximum
dough coverage. Then continue turning the ball until it is both cooked
thoroughly, and evenly.

Retrieve your powered sugar and be sure to lightly pat over the top of
cooked ableskivers.
