Matcha Cookie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 and 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a large bowl, cream butter + sugars until fluffy (about 2–3 minutes)
Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth
In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, matcha, baking soda, and salt
Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients. Don’t overmix!
Fold in optional chocolate chips or nuts if using
Scoop dough (about 1 tbsp) onto prepared baking sheet, spacing 2 inches apart
Bake 10–12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden
Let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack
