Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients
2 lbs potatoes
2 lbs chilled butter
1 cup warm milk
1 tbsp salt
Instructions
Place potatoes in large put and cover with cold water
Add salt to water and bring to a boil
Gentle simmer for 20-30 minutes
Drain the potatoes and peel the skins off
Pass potatoes twice through a sieve
Place potatoes in saucepan over low heat and stir continuously
Slowly incorporate butter and then milk into the potatoes
Serve!
