Fried Chicken Recipe
Ingredients
For the Marinade:
- 10 lbs bone-in chicken
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 tsp onion powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
For the Coating:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- ½ tsp garlic & onion powder
- ½ tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
For Frying:
- Vegetable oil (2–3 inches deep in pan)
Instructions
- Mix marinade and soak chicken for 4+ hours (overnight preferred).
- Combine coating ingredients in a bowl.

Remove chicken, dredge in flour mix. Optional: double-dip for extra
crisp.
- Let coated chicken rest 10–15 min on a rack.
- Heat oil to 325–350°F (165–175°C).

Fry in batches 10–15 min, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked
through (165°F inside).
- Drain on rack or paper towels. Let rest before serving.
Tip: Serve with coleslaw, pickles, or hot sauce!
