Instructions

  1. Mix marinade and soak chicken for 4+ hours (overnight preferred).
  2. Combine coating ingredients in a bowl.
  3. Remove chicken, dredge in flour mix. Optional: double-dip for extra crisp.
  4. Let coated chicken rest 10–15 min on a rack.
  5. Heat oil to 325–350°F (165–175°C).
  6. Fry in batches 10–15 min, turning occasionally, until golden and cooked through (165°F inside).
  7. Drain on rack or paper towels. Let rest before serving.

Tip: Serve with coleslaw, pickles, or hot sauce!
